Not only is this school a scam, the administration tries extremely hard to get anyone kicked out of school for the smallest things.Cell phones you go home for two days, colorful socks one day, wrinkled clothes one day, sitting in the wrong seat one day. If you are at Remington college enrolled in the Cosmetology program you should know that every minute on the clock makes a difference. If you miss one day you are in danger of not passing on to the next mod because every four weeks you have to accumulate one hundred and twenty five hours. If you do choose this school just be on your game and be sure not to half step one day because it will be a waste of twenty thousand dollars because of something small.

At first I was skeptical, but I really enjoy going. It's a great learning environment. I'm still going to to a state university, but it def is worth the time and money. As long as you do well on labs, tests, and study! I have nothing bad to say bout it!

I attended there in the Medical Coding and Insurance program. I had a great time the first couple of months and felt good I would land a terrific job to support me and my kids. After the third month or so it seemed like the classes were repeating themselves, and the Coding part of the program is a joke!!!!!
They don't teach you but about 4 weeks of coding, and the instructors drop like flies in that department and they don't even know how to code!!! And everyone passes, the instructors make sure.. don't miss a day they will call you 30 minutes after class starts to find out why!! I only missed one day in 9 months and they were having a cow!!!They only want your money!!I can't get a job because I don't have 2 yrs. experience in medical billing. And the part that makes it worse I owe them $100.00 a month and in a few more months I have student loans coming due at another 150.00 monthly and I can't get a job. A lot of businesses turn you away when they see Remington on your resume!!! Students that graduated before got jobs and showed they were clueless and ruined it for everyone!! Go get a job in a medical office as the receptionist and you will get one faster than going to remington. Even insurance giants around here, hire you if you have delt with claims in automobiles, you don't need Remington, they don't even prepare you for the test you have to take after you graduate to be certified in this program. They give you a book and tell you to study this at home while you are waiting to take the test!! I can't even get my Diploma from them because I can't pay my $100 I owe them because I can't get a job!!!! Take anatomy class and medical terminolgy classes and then you will be elgible for the state exam test, without paying Remington $14,000.00 for the course!! Thanks for the debt and for selling me a DREAM, that won't come true!!!
Oh and by the way I have been to college have an associates in teaching and I have stable work history, not the reason I can't get a job.... in this field...It's cause Remington is on my RESUME, and they don't help you get a job, they email you jobs they see online, and they call that career services!!! I know over 25 people who recently graduated and they are either unemployed or they are working jobs that don't even relate to the program they went through at Remington!! Stay Away unless you already have 2 yrs in medical records or have 2 yrs working in a clinic or hospital!!!!

The coursework was definitely more challenging than I expected! I did have a good relationship with my professors. They were genuinely helpful and motivating.
I think my overall experience was excellent. I was able to obtain a very rewarding job within two months of graduation. I was also more than prepared to meet the demand of my new career.

My experience at Remington College was amazing. I started out with just the goal of helping myself. At the end of my 8 months, I helped my classmates and myself. My instructors and classmates made this an experience one that I will never forget. I was told that with me being a parent with two kids, that I was not going to make it but I did. I would advise anyone who wants to go back to school and better themselves to do so.
