Allied College

Since its beginnings in 1981, Allied College has provided career education in Healthcare and Criminal Justice through hands-on training and industry-modeled curriculum. Graduates may receive either a Diploma or Associate Degree from the North or South Missouri campus.

Small classes, flexible day and evening schedules, and real-world training provide a tailored education convenient for working adults looking to advance their careers. Allied also provides career services assistance to students and graduates in the field and location of preference.

Financial Assistance is available for qualified students and includes grants, scholarships, and loans.

Criminal Justice Programs

  • Criminal JusticeCriminal Justice
    Develop skills in a career with increased demand as a Police Officer, Probation Counselor, Detective, Juvenile Judge, Court Clerk, Border Patrol Agent, Victim Advocate, or Crime Scene Analyst.

Healthcare Programs

  • Dental AssistantDental Assistant
    Earn an Associate Degree and work in dental offices providing patient care, sterilizing instruments, applying anesthetics, removing excess filling cement, as well as performing office tasks like scheduling appointments, receiving patients, billing, and ordering supplies. Learn about dental x-ray procedures, dental training, and gain CPR certification through a dental facility externship.
  • Massage TherapyMassage Therapy
    Become a Massage Therapist with an Associate Degree and training in Swedish, sports, deep tissue, and chair massage as well as hydrotherapy, lymphatic drainage, reflexology, and aromatherapy. Typical career settings include private offices, massage therapy clinics, chiropractors' and doctors' offices, athletic clubs, resorts, spas, beauty salons, and cruise ships.
  • Medical AssistantMedical Assistant
    Learn skills for a career as a Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist, Medical Insurance Biller, Medical Bookkeeper, or Laboratory Assistant. Training includes fundamental medical diagnostic techniques, anatomy and physiology, CPR certification, knowledge of clinical and lab procedures, venipuncture, injections, electrocardiography (EKG), and measurement of vitals. Students receive an Associate of Applied Science Degree upon graduation and have an opportunity for externship study in a medical facility.
  • Medical Billing & CodingMedical Billing & Coding
    Prepare for a career in Medical Billing & Coding with an Associate of Applied Science Degree and training in insurance billing and medical coding, maintaining medical records, human anatomy and physiology and common diseases, medical terminology, and various administrative duties. Externship opportunities are available in a medical office or hospital. This program is designed for detail-oriented individuals who prefer to not work with patients.
  • Pharmacy TechnicianPharmacy Technician
    Earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree and prepare for a Pharmacy Technician career assisting a licensed pharmacist in a retail pharmacy, clinic, or hospital. The degree includes training in anatomy and physiology and of drugs/antibiotics used for disease treatment, herbal remedies, dietary supplements, interpreting physicians' orders, maintaining records, process drug orders, and state and federal pharmacy laws. Externships are available at clinical sites.
  • Surgical Technologist*Surgical Technologist*
    Become a 'scrub' with an Associate of Applied Science Degree and training in anatomy and physiology, introductory surgical skills and lab procedures in the operating room, CPR certification, sterilization and surgical instrument set-ups, surgical equipment and supplies, application of surgical bandages, and how to prepare a patient for surgery. Externships are available at a medical facility. The program is designed for those interested in a career in intense environments and individuals interested in the human body and working with their hands--and people very comfortable with blood and operations.
    *This program is only available at Allied College - Maryland Heights Campus.
